EO STEM Jam creates a safe and inspiring learning environment where children of different skill levels can participate according to their own abilities. Multilingual delivery also makes it possible for families with different language and cultural backgrounds to take part. At the end of the day, every child receives a personal recognition, which strengthens motivation to learn and a sense of their own competence.
The next EO STEM Jam will be held on 3–4.10.2026 at Dipoli, Aalto University in Espoo.
Children solve math problems independently by choosing a level that suits them, which strengthens their confidence and challenges them.
Team tasks
4th–6th graders complete a team challenge in which they collect resources to build a structure that earns points for the team.
Science activities
Hands-on science activities bring joy and excitement. Each child is awarded a medal and special gifts.
STEM Activities
The event features a wide range of STEM activities that showcase mathematics, science, and natural phenomena in a hands-on and engaging way. The activities develop children's talents, confidence, and skills.
Logic puzzles and prizes make participation more engaging
Parents receive valuable tools for developing their children’s mathematical skills at home and gain a better understanding of the child’s learning process.
Volunteers and Mentors
Inspiring mentors and future coaches guide every activity, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Volunteers motivate and encourage children, making the STEM Jam experience unforgettable and impactful.
Community
The event creates a strong network of community support for mathematics and science education.

Kokea koko tapahtuma. En edes tiennyt, että tälläistä järjestetään Suomessa. Olen vaan nähnyt TV:ssä ohjelmissa.

EO STEM Jam offers municipalities and cities a low-threshold partnership opportunity that supports children's and young people's well-being, inclusion, and equal access to learning.
The event brings together mathematics, science, and creative building for the whole family and unites children, parents, and teachers from different backgrounds.
Collaboration with the city does not always include a funding request — it can be based, for example, on providing venues, communication support, or joint marketing.
Benefits for the municipality:
The event brings joy, inspiration, and new learning experiences to the area, strengthens community spirit, and supports local strategies such as children's and young people's well-being plans and programs that promote equal access to learning.
Our model is tested and scalable: we can deliver the event quickly and cost-effectively in any municipality by leveraging local schools, volunteers, and networks.
The city gains visibility as a promoter of children's and young people's learning, along with the opportunity to offer residents high-quality and inspiring activities without high participation costs.
